Jane Austen's Prayer Sterling Silver Cuff
Jane Austen: "Teach us that we may feel the importance of every day, of every hour, as it passes."
- Length: 6-3/4"
- 1/4" wide
Jane Austen remains one of the best loved and most widely read novelists in the English language. Her novels are enjoyed for the many levels on which they delight us: they are love stories, displays of wit, wisdom and satire, social commentaries, acute human observations and among the first salvos of feminism. While best known for her incomparable novels, among her letters and other writings were three prayers, of which this is a part of one, probably written in 1811 and a wonderful way to share her faith. An engraved sterling silver bracelet with quotations, designed by Laurel Elliott.
Sterling silver will retain its luster for years and frequent wearing of your jewelry will help prevent tarnishing. We recommend polishing your sterling silver jewelry with a dry silver polishing cloth available at most grocery or hardware stores. We do not recommend polishing with silver polish as this may remove the antiquing. When you are not wearing your jewelry, storing your silver in the jewelry bag in which it came will help prevent tarnishing.
