The carving on this ring is a scene of Christ officiating a marriage. The groom is on the left and the bride is on right. Below the figures is the Greek word “homonia” or harmony. Marriage Ring is designed with an octagonal band to represent the number of days in the week and the octagonal church at Antioch and replicas in Constantinople.
